“What does a movie producer do?” Well, that question has lingered in my mind for a while and I think it’s safe to say that making a movie has a lot of moving parts.
Luckily for me, I was able to get the answers for this episode of Always Acting Up podcast, and hopefully a little bit of clarity for you as well.
I was able to ask my guest all kinds of questions, from how to get work as a film producer, what is your job on set, and all of the little details in between.
There are many different titles in the realm “movie producer” such as line producer, associate producer, executive producer, so this conversation really helped me get a better understanding and duties of a film producer.

Unlike most careers, the entertainment industry offers many different ways to “break in”, you just have to find out which method works best for you.
