Maybe you actually dodged a donkey, instead.

Are you a blacklisted actor? Maybe it’s really not all that bad, perhaps you even dodged a donkey, there.

Actors get a lot of sh*t for their professionalism or lack thereof, but I have to say, this goes both ways and it is not always on us. However, we seem to always get the blame for it.

I’m not saying there aren’t a ton of cringe-worthy actor moments that happen on the daily, but what I AM saying is that it’s a two-way street.

I phrase it this way, because yes, I am still “scared” of being a blacklisted actor in this industry and it kinda sucks. While there are absolutely plenty of fish in the sea, I do understand that it’s a very small world and ultimately, people want to work with who they feel comfortable with.

If Bob doesn’t like you, and Susie trusts their opinions, then the likelihood of you working with Susie, despite zero previous “encounters”, is slim.
